Terms of Service

What Sentinel is

Sentinel surfaces risk analytics on market data and on any portfolio you choose to connect or enter. It is an informational tool to help you understand the risk in your own holdings.

Sentinel does not provide investment advice. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and its outputs are not financial, legal, or tax advice. Analytics depend on third-party market data and on modelling assumptions, so they cannot be guaranteed accurate or complete. You are responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified adviser where appropriate.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may use the Service as an individual or on behalf of an organisation you are authorised to represent.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and tell us promptly at support@aureumfrontiers.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• Keep the information you provide accurate, and use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• You can disconnect a broker or delete your account from Settings at any time.

Connecting a broker

Broker connections are read-only and run through our connectivity partners, SnapTrade and Tink. They handle their own authentication, so we never see or store your broker credentials, and the Service cannot place trades or move money on your behalf. We receive only the read-only position data those partners return.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• access it through automated means such as scraping or bots without our written permission;
• attempt to bypass security or reach another user’s data;
• disrupt or degrade the Service, or reverse-engineer its models or code; or
• resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation.

Plans and billing

Sentinel offers a free plan and paid plans. Where a paid plan is offered, it is billed in advance through the applicable app store or payment processor at the price shown when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. Except where the law or the app store’s policy requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

Your content and our rights

You keep all rights to the data you connect or enter and to the outputs Sentinel generates from it. You grant us a limited licence to process that data only to provide the Service. The Service itself, including its software and analytics models, remains the property of Aureum Frontiers B.V. and its licensors; you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. Any feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that its analytics are accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for investment losses or for any indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and our Data Processing summary lists the sub-processors we rely on. You remain in control of the holdings you connect; we process them on your behalf to provide the Service.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is honoured after a short grace period, after which your portfolio history, broker connections, and account record are removed. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or poses a security risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and you and Aureum Frontiers B.V. submit to the courts of the Netherlands for any dispute we cannot first resolve in good faith. Please reach out to us before taking any other step.
